Texas quarterback David Ash will miss next week’s game against Oklahoma due to what the Longhorns term “lingering effects” from a head injury.
In a statement released by the school on Saturday, team trainer Kenny Boyd said Ash, who initially suffered a concussion at BYU on Sept. 7 and has missed all or part of four games this season, has been ruled out for UT’s game against the rival Sooners next week. Case McCoy will start in Ash’s place for the third time in four games.
