If you don’t have tickets and still want to see the Oklahoma vs. Louisiana-Monroe game which opens the 2013 season you best be ready to fork over $39.95 to get the pay-per-view broadcast.
FOX Sports Oklahoma says that participating providers — meaning cable systems and satellite systems — will distribute the season-opening Aug. 31 football game on pay-per-view with that suggested retail price.
Ron Thulin, Dave Lapham and Chad McKee (sidelines) will by the on-air talent for the game. Coverage begins with Sooner Gameday at 5 p.m. Following the game, Sooner Sports Overtime will have complete postgame analysis and press conferences from OU coaches and student-athletes.
The game will be available on a dedicated pay-per-view channel on participating Oklahoma, Texas, Louisiana and Arkansas program providers and nationwide via participating satellite and Telco distributors.
If that’s not available to you, a live stream of the game can be purchased from SoonerSports.tv, for $44.95 to watch it on your computer, mobile device or tablet. The purchase will include three free months of SoonerSports.tv and SoonersIllustrated.com.
If you are outside Oklahoma, Texas, Louisiana and Arkansas, you may not be able to get the game on your cable system. Best to check now. If not, buying the game on Sooner Sports.tv may be your best option.
