Tulsa World’s reporter Eric Bailey takes a look at Sooner running back Damien Williams, who didn’t want to attend a school that would easily pick him as their starting running back. He wanted a challenge.
“I was going somewhere where I could compete and open my talents and show people that I could play against the best and with the best players on our team,” Williams said.
“I didn’t want to go anywhere where I could walk in and start.”
