Who knew that Coach Bob Stoops’ idea of Blake Bell becoming the “Belldozer” came from watching Kansas State QB Collin Klein?
Ironically, Klein and Bell are friends. Bell attended Klein’s wedding in Kansas this summer.
Stoops bumped into Klein at Big 12 Media Days in Dallas this week. They talked about the connection, and Stoops revealed he got the idea to sub the Wichita-area native Bell for QB Landry Jones in goal-line situations after watching Klein dive into the end zone week after week.
