In today’s social media world, popularity can be measured by the number followers one has on Twitter.
Oklahoma DB Javon Harris joined Twitter on Sunday, after nabbing two interceptions against Florida State shortly before midnight Eastern Time on Saturday. He had about 381 followers in about 20 minutes and the number keeps growing.
That’s a pretty good 24 hours for Harris.
It was a pretty good night for all Sooner defenders. Oklahoma held Florida State to just 27 yards rushing and picked off FSU QBs for two interceptions and sacked them six times.
“As a defense I think it shows the rest of the country we’re here to stay. I think it set a tone for the rest of the season,” Harris said.
Key was also the return of LB Travis Lewis, who we thought all week would not play due to a foot injury. When he was warming up prior to the game, the news of Lewis’ possible playing in this game spread through the crowd of about 10,000 Sooner fans in attendance like wildfire.
