DE Ronnell Lewis has been declared eligible by the NCAA to play for the Sooners, school officials announced today.
This ends a three-week period of uncertainty, first with Lewis not participating in practices, then to participating. The Oklahoma coaches listed Lewis as a starter when player depth charts were released earlier this week, but Coach Bob Stoops cautioned that meant nothing about Lewis’ eligibility.
