Welcome back to our 12th season of doing whatever it is we do.
During the summer Hunter played baseball, attended the NBA Finals in Boston and did who knows what at summer camp in Colorado. Alex is working seven days a week on a massive political campaign in Ohio that will likely shape the future of America (no pressure there, bud). Mike has been representing bug killers. Oh, and loading up on root beer at Pops.
As you see we repainted the place. We even built some new rooms and re-arranged others and added enough buttons and links that you can click to your heart’s delight all things Soonerguys.
(You can even now comment on our stuff. But keep it clean because grandma reads this on occasion.)
Some things besides the website layout will be new for 2010. We will surprise you once the season begins with some special video guests. Also, Tim has been locked in the basement and won’t be let out until he creates some original graphic work for The Adventures of Soonerguy: The Graphic Novel. He’s demanding daily food. The wimp.
The weekly Pick ’em Contest will return (including the Bowl Season Pick ’em won last year by one of our subscribers, Anita, who obviously is too smart to be reading this stuff), but with some new twists: Team Play. Meaning our losing prognosticators will get kicked off the island.
Some things will be the same. We hope to convince good ol’ Dave to share his hand-wringing thoughts each week in Dave’s Worry Meter; and to prevail upon the Friehofer tailgate extravaganza to allow us to smooch food and take pics of people while they are eating. After all we can’t get enough of funny faces with food falling out.
