DeMarco Murray’s 55 career touchdowns is just two shy of the school record 57 set by Heisman winner Steve Owens.
At 41 years, it is one of the longest running school records.
The longest standing record that was broken at OU came in 2009 when Sam Bradford (184.87) eclipsed Eddie Crowder’s career mark for passing efficiency (165.94). That record had been in place for 57 years.
