OU coach Bob Stoops was asked if Tom Wort’s enthusiasm got him in trouble Saturday with two late-hit penalties after failed third-down plays by Utah State that eventually led to an Aggies field goal.
“I wouldn’t even label that enthusiasm,” Stoops said. “It’s maturity. Just very poor and selfish play. That’s high school play. It leads to points. Just silly.”
