In the meantime, we asked them what the chances were that Jalen Hurts will be able to carry his Sooners team against his old team, Alabama, in the playoffs or national championship this year?
Skepticism was the answer.
“Small chance so far. Need to see him unleash more deep balls and stay in the pocket better,” said Noah, our NYC panelist.
Likewise, David put the chance at only 10 percent. Rob at 20 percent.
“Not bloody likely,” summed up Randy, our Edmond Soonerguy.
And the tried and true pickers, Rick and Roger were hedging their bets: 50 percent.
But our west coaster, Brandon, was more optimistic: 75 percent!
