Beware the David and Goliath story at Tulsa
Cool weather can’t get here soon enough. Man it was hot in the stands Saturday. Especially if you were like me and had seats on the east side. The only thing that made it bearable was of course watching the Sooners in a solid win to kick off the season.
Nothing fancy as I would be surprised if Josh turned past page one in the playbook. Trevor Knight managed the offense well with some nice passes to Shepard, who is easily the most valuable player on the offense.
That’s not to say Knight or the running backs aren’t pulling their weight. In fact, this trio of backs has the potential to be the best group that Stoops has ever had. They have a chance to do something special this season.
The one thing that concerns me is a second wide receiver stepping up and taking pressure off Shepard. If someone jumps in and becomes a legitimate deep threat…look out.
