Lack of leadership on Sooners defense is embarrassing

At what point do we stop saying “Oh that’s just Big 12 offenses”, and start saying “Our defense just sucks!”

What occurred with the Sooner defense Saturday night in Lubbock was almost unimaginable. The stats were mind boggling. Over 850 yards of offense given up. An astounding 59 points scored by Tech.

And maybe the most damning of stats: The Red Raiders converted 20 of 25 third down.

That was the OKLAHOMA SOONERS defense. The home of the SELMON BROTHERS and GEORGE CUMBY. GRANVILLE LIGGINS, ROD SHOATE and JIMBO ELROD. RICKY DIXON, TONY.CASILLIAS and THE BOZ.
