Baylor gamed hinges on Broyles-less offense
Sitting in the stands at the A&M game I received a text from my brother. He sits on the first row behind the OU bench. He wrote that the doctors were talking to Broyles and then Broyles started to cry.
You know the rest of the story. I feel terrible for Ryan. What a heartbreaking way to end your career at OU.
But injuries are part of the game and unfortunately this year has not been kind to the Sooners in that respect.
If Whaley going down was a concern, Ryan going down is darn near close to a panic.
Leadership, work ethic, and most important consistency was lost when Broyles hit the turf that day.
How many times has Ryan converted the big third down to keep a drive going? Too many to count. And now he won’t be there.
