Sooners, Bears, Cowpokes and Wildcats favored this weekend in Big 12

This weekend’s slate of college football will see Clemson playing without its starting quarterback, because of COVID-19. But, that only means the Tigers are 24 point favorites over Boston College instead of 24. 

Meanwhile, our panel of prognosticators focuses on the Big 12 this week. 

Baylor is slightly favored 6-4 over TCU in Waco. And Kansas State is expected 9-0 to defeat the West Virginia Mountaineers in Morgantown. 

One contest that will get much attention is Texas traveling to Stillwater. The panel favors the Cowboys 7-3.

Big 10 returns to the game, Ohio State expected to overpower Nebraska

Our Soonerguys Pick ’em panel see Ohio State having an easy time with Nebraska as the Big 10 returns to the gridiron this weekend.

And they see the Texas Tech vs. West Virginia game to be the most contested in the Big 12.  Tech is favored 6-4.

Oklahoma State gets the nod over Iowa State from seven out of 10 pickers. And Texas is expected to get back on track with a win over Baylor.

Roger and Jack are again at the stop of the Pick ’em standings, going 29-13 for the season. But Brandon was a perfect 7-0 last week, including picking the Arkansas upset over Mississippi and Kentucky’s road win over Tennessee.

COVID nixes some games, but Saban-less Alabama still favored over Georgia

A few college football games were postponed this weekend — Cincinnati at Tulsa and LSU at Florida and Oklahoma State at Baylor —  but our weekend prognosticators made their pics for seven other games, with strong preference for an Alabama win over Georgia (even if Nick Saban is out with COVID) and Notre Dame to fend off Louisville.

Going into this week’s picks, Jack and Roger are at the top of the standings.
